Stories of Resilience is a virtual showcase and gathering, sharing insights from Unit Souzou’s work over the past year. Featuring new works from the Unit Souzou Ensemble, the East Portland Neighborhood Cohort, and artistic collaborators, visual artist, Horatio Law, and filmmakers, Dawn Jones Redstone and Annie Tonsiengsom, the program will include video diaries, video shorts, and live interviews from our RHYTHM PROJECT exploring how our communities are experiencing and imagining safety in East Portland and our OTHERNESS PROJECT examining notions of otherness, displacement, and belonging.
