For Silenced Voices: Missing & Murdered Indigenous Women (MMIW) VENUE Westminster Presbyterian Church, 1300 N Street (13th & N), Sacramento, CA 95814 Westminster acknowledges and repents of all forms of genocide perpetrated on Native peoples in the name of Christianity. Westminster welcomes all people. Period. SONGS The goals of the music are to prepare the audience to listen and to realize interconnectedness. The goals of the concert are to teach us, inspire us, and mobilize us to action for the silenced voices of missing and murdered indigenous women. Central to the concert program will be personal narratives from those directly connected to MMIW, video and photos of MMIW, face painting of the hand print across the mouth (e.g. see photo below of Rosalie Fish who runs track to raise awareness of the epidemic of MMIW.  Rosalie's aunt is one of the many victims), drumming, flute, round dance, ribbon skirt and/or placement of red dress representing MMIW. Not invisible. Say her name. Silent no more.
